Consultancy

HBN provides consultancy services to a wide range of public and private sector clients, with projects ranging in size from around £10k to in excess of £750k. Our project portfolio includes:

  • Appointed to advise a city council in England on their transformation plans in line with the ODPM’s transformational government agenda
  • Appointment to a small council in North-East England to bring about business transformation in their customer services. (posted 2/2/06); extension of this project by a further £25k, posted 7/5/06)
  • Extension of consultancy contract with major metropolitan council in England to provide business transformation consultancy and support - total contract value now exceeds £850k (posted 2/2/06)
  • Recently appointed to undertake a thorough review of the e-government preparedness of a large English borough council (Posted 29/4/05)

  • Review of the E-government preparations for an English Borough Council, as part of their recovery plan following a poor rating in their Comprehensive Performance Assessment (CPA) (Posted 3/2/2005)

  • Development of computer simulation models of the criminal justice system in Scotland for the Scottish Executive and the Crown Office

HBN’s managing director and principal consultant is also a Principal Consultant, Business Development Manager and Managing Consultant for Socitm Consulting, a registered SACS consultant with the Office of Government Commerce, and is a Member of the Institute of Directors.
