Highland Business Networks Ltd - serving the Business Community
Highland Business Networks Ltd is an innovative Scottish company, based in the Highlands of Scotland as well as in the Kingdom of Fife and in Staffordshire and the West Midlands. It
specialises in five main areas of work:
- Business consultancy - with clients throughout the length and breadth of the UK, and includes projects which have won national awards
- Serviced business accommodation - high quality, prestigious offices in the City of Inverness
- Bespoke software development - ranging from small applications (eg casefile audit tools), to large systems (eg award-winning mental health information system for NHS Scotland; award winning intranet system for Enterprise Tayside))
- Information processing and data management - for important clients for whom accuracy and timeliness matter
- Web design and development - developing the software that drives transactional and interactive web-sites - community portals, tourism bookings and reservations systems, e-commerce solutions, systems for public and voluntary sectors, and most recently systems for multi-national banks, the newspaper industry and insurance.
Trading since 1997 in Avoch on the Black Isle, as well as Inverness, Fife and Staffordshire, the company has
established a reputation for reliability and quality - nearly all our clients are long-standing or repeat clients, and many are large public sector bodies - central and local government, universities, and local
enterprise companies.
Together with our sister company, Lambda Research and Consultancy, we are proud to have generated over £5 million of revenue for the
Highland economy, mainly from out of the region, and have provided over 60 person-years of work for local people. The network of associates of which we are a part has an annual turnover of around £5 million, and is
registered on the Office of Government Commerce (OGC) CATALIST list of approved suppliers of consultancy and related services.
